AA Riding Pants

Hi, hope everyone's doing well. I decided to do another outfit post today (mid rain showers) of one of my 'everyday/college' outfits. This consists of my American Apparel riding pants, which I got last Christmas, a simple grey polo neck top from Urban Outfitters, and chunky chelsea boots from New Look (similar).

I have accesorized this outfit with a three chain necklace from Topshop (as seen in previous blogposts) and a tan leather back pack, which I got when I was on holiday in Ibiza. If your ever on holiday in Ibiza would highly reccommend Las Dalias market - they sell some beautiful leather goods, traditional Ibizian wear and lots more. I quite often buy my leather bags abroad because they are a lot cheaper than leather at home and are more unique.

As my jacket I wore a floral bomber jacket purchased from a vintage fair which took place in one of the local universitys. I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it because of it's lovely print and versatility.

If your interested in vintage wear look out for fairs in your area they tend to be so much cheaper than the average vintage shop and hold a wide range of unique pieces. (I think I got the bomber jacket for something like £10 - total bargin!)

I've been really loving the AA riding pants, they are really versatile and easy to wear. They are really good quality as well, I'd even say I prefered them to jeans.

Vintage Renewal

On a recent day out to Durham I decided to take some blog photos because the weather was so lovely. My outfit consists of Vintage levi shorts paired with a high neck leapard print cami top, these items are both from a local vintage shop in the centre of Newcastle named Deep Vintage. I have loved Deep since it opened because I really like how they use vintage clothes and remake them into more dynamic, modern styles.

You will be able to find similar Levi shorts to mine in charity and vintage shops in your area. I recommend keeping a lookout for local vintage fairs which quite often hold events at hotels, theatres and unis - I find these a lot cheaper than the standard vintage shop. Try to stay clear of buying things like vintage levis from shops such as Urban Outfitters because they tend to be alot more expensive. I tend to find when I buy vintage Levi shorts that they cut them quite long so I normally take it upon myself to cut them a bit shorter and fray them or turn them up at the bottom.

I accessorized my outfit with a pair of patent leather tortoise shell loafers which I got in the sale in Urban Outfitters a while back for £5. (BARGAIN!)
I am loving scrunchies at the moment (even though they make me look about 5) so I wore a leapard scrunchie, again from Urban Outfitters.

OOTD: Another monochrome post

Hi again, hope you's are all doing well. Yesterday, whilst out on a catch up with two of my friends I found the perfect spot to do a quick OOTD post. My outfit consists of my recently purchased aztec aline skirt paired with a simple black turtle neck, heavy duty boots and my electric blue satchel for a colour pop.

Turtle Neck - Primark
Tights - Primark

Skirt - Topshop

I have found this skirt perfect for day to day wear, because it is very easy to wear and style. However it is the perfect seperate because it can also be dressed up for a nightime event, with a black cami and a pair of heels.

At the moment when shopping I am trying to buy clothes that can be worn both dressy and casual, which is why I tend to go for seperates. I find there is nothing worse than spending lots of money on a dressy dress you will only wear once.

Necklace - Topshop
Lipstick - Taupe by MAC

Boots - Office (similar)

I'm not exaggerating when I say i haven't taken these boots off since i bought them last September (which explains why they desperatly need re-heeling). They are not only the most comfortable shoes ever, but they also go with basically everything I own, they are definitely one of my best buys.

Satchel - Cambridge Satchel Company

Denim shirt - Urban Renewal at Urban Outfitters

I opted for my vintage renewal denim shirt as my jacket as it was quite a warm day up north. This dressed down my outfit giving it a more casual vibe and a slouchy finish. You will be able to find a vintage shirt like this in charity/vintage shops in your local area, it took me a while to find a one that was exactly what I wanted (vintage clothing is all about just having a good rumage until you find something that catches your eye.)

Thank you for taking time to read this blog post, I'd love to hear any feedback.
